Review: Brick Loot Brings Building Fun Right To Your Door

By Sponsored August 26, 2015
If you have a LEGO lover in your house who loves new additions to their collection, consider checking out Brick Loot, a subscription service that delivers brick-building fun right to your door!

Their boxes include some LEGO pieces, but a lot of unique Brick Loot exclusive items that are LEGO-compatible. Each box contains between 4-8 items, and the boxes are designed for ages six and older.

We received their August box to facilitate this review, and both my son and daughter couldn't wait to open it up and get building! Our box contained:
  • Five Xerx-BOTS
  • An Ameno-bot
  • Al B. Back minifigure
  • Lite-up brick
  • Laser Pegs
Each item was packaged individually in the box, so each kid grabbed something and went right to work.

The XERX-BOTS immediately caught their attention, but we had some minor frustration getting the right pieces to easily fit together. My 7-year-old son quickly remedied the situation by using his imagination to build the bot as he thought it should be instead of the directions, which is great for his creativity!

Lasesr Pegs offer a fun component for any LEGO or brick creation - a glowing power source. The laser peg block comes with a charging cord.

My kids really enjoyed taking the time to explore all of the different pieces that were included!

The Story of Brick Loot

Brick Loot is the creation of one family, whose 10-year-old son Parker has a deep love for everything LEGO. Parker's mom Erin shared that every year they have a garage sale so he can sell all his NON-LEGO toys to raise money to purchase MORE LEGO sets. As they were sitting at their garage sale discussing other monthly box subscriptions Brick Loot’s business plan was created.

Your family can get in on the fun by ordering a 1-month, three-month or six-month subscription. You can use the code MACKID1 to save 10% on a 1-month or 3-month subscription.
