Dreamscapes Watergardens will celebrate the end of another successful summer for its Metamorphosis Butterfly House with a butterfly release on Saturday, Sept. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This annual event will include three different release times - 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Between 300-500 Monarch butterflies will be released for their migration to Mexico. It is FREE to come and watch the release event.
Your family is invited to reserve a butterfly for release by calling the store at 717-272-6555. Advance reservations are $8. If butterflies are still available, you can also reserve your own on Saturday for $10. You are also invited to take one last walk through the butterfly house at a cost of $3 per person.
In addition, there will be a FREE bounce house for children to enjoy. There will be a craft bag ($3) and face painting ($5), and a mining station where bags begin at $8.
