More than 150 carved, illuminated pumpkins, a variety of whimsical scarecrows—some of which come to life—and colorful fall displays will greet guests at Hershey Gardens during Pumpkin Glow. The annual family friendly Halloween event will be held October 23, 24, 30 and 31 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
In addition to following a winding path adorned with jack-o-lanterns, children can trick-or-treat along the pathway, collect candy, and enjoy friendly, live scarecrows as part of their non-scary Halloween adventure. Youngsters are encouraged to bring flashlights and come dressed in costume; they also can listen to a scarecrow tell a special Halloween story.
We have attended Pumpkin Glow a few times and it's always been great! We love walking through the gardens and picking out our favorite jack-o-lanterns whether it was cartoon characters, sports teams, or other creations. Of course my Mini Macaronis enjoyed collecting the candy, too!

Students from Lebanon County Career and Technical Center’s Culinary and Pastry Arts program also will be giving pumpkin-carving demonstrations. Seasonal displays featuring a variety of gourds and pumpkins round out the fall event. Refreshments will be for sale.
Pumpkin Glow tickets may be purchased at the event, at Hershey Gardens from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily or at www.HersheyGardens.org. Purchasing tickets in advance during normal business hours or via the website is encouraged. Hershey Gardens is located at 170 Hotel Road, Hershey.
General admission is $10.50 for visitors ages 13-61, $9.50 for seniors (ages 62 and up), and $7.50 for juniors (ages 3-12); children ages 2 and under are free. For more information about Hershey Gardens, visit www.HersheyGardens.org or call 717-534-3492.
