May 25, 2016
It's Memorial Day weekend! A time to remember those who serve and protect our country, as well as the unofficial start to summer. And this weekend, it's actually going to feel like summer!

Here are a few ideas for local family fun around Lebanon County this weekend.

1. See the largest Memorial Day parade in the state in Annville on Saturday! Or, catch one in Lebanon, Palmyra, Richland, or Jonestown on Monday.

2. Enjoy games, food and wine at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire during the Great PA FlavorFest.

3. Kick it old school during the Jonestown Block Party on Saturday! Street vendors, food, activities and more during this annual event.

4. It's all #ForTheKids during the annual Diamond Dash Festival at Cedar Crest High School benefiting the Four Diamonds Fund. Families can enjoy a dunk tank, face painting and bounce house.

5. Visit a local park or playground.

Wander a little farther from home for the Annual Patriot News ArtsFest in downtown Harrisburg. Vendors, activities, and entertainment along the Susquehanna River.
