Lebanon Macaroni Kid Fall Classes & Activities Guide

Socialization is just as important as education, and here in Lebanon County, we're lucky to have a variety of activities and classes to choose from for our Mini Macaronis.

Whether the talent is art, music, dance or gymnastics, there will surely be something to fit everyone's interest. Plus, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts will also be accepting registrations for the new year.

Boy Scouts of America PA Dutch Council

Lebanon County falls under the Horseshoe-Trail District of the Pennsylvania Dutch Council. Watch for information to be announced about registration events for the upcoming year. Learn more on their website at www.padutchbsa.org


Community Music Institute at Lebanon Valley College

The Community Music Institute (CMI) offers Musikgarten pre-school classes for infants through age 8 as well as private instrumental and voice lessons (ages 6-adult). Fall 2016 Musikgarten Schedule: Classes start the week of Sept. 6. Register before Aug. 19 and receive a 10% discount. Siblings receive a 10% discount. Visit their website at www.lvc.edu/cmi.


Danstation School of Dance

Danstation School of Dance is now accepting registrations for new classes for 2016-17 for students age 3 through adult. Classes are held in the studio inside the Lebanon Valley Mall.

Classes include Dance Basics for preschoolers, Step Up for early elementary students, and then progresses through Beginner, Intermediate and Senior Ballet, Tap, Jazz/Hip-Hop and Pointe.

Generation Dance

Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania

Watch for registration events to take place in August and September throughout Lebanon County. Girls as young as kindergarten are eligible to join! Visit their website for more details.


Kindermusik with Kristen Miller

New Fall Kindermusik classes will be offered at Trinity United Church of Christ in Palmyra starting Sept. 14-15. Classes run through Dec. 14-15 with no classes the week of Thanksgiving.

Wednesday classes

9:30 a.m. - Kindermusik "Our Time" Class for ages 1 to 3; Curriculum is "Milk and Cookies" - $215
10:30 a.m. - Kindermusik "Our Time" Class for ages 1.5 to 3.5; Curriculum is "Milk and Cookies" - $215

Thursday classes

9:30 a.m. - Kindermusik "Village" Class for newborn to age 1.5; Curriculum "Dream Pillow and Zoom Buggy" - $210
10:30 a.m. - Kindermusik "Our Time" Class for ages 1.5 to 3.5; Curriculum is "Milk and Cookies" - $215
11:30 a.m. - Kindermusik "Imagine That" Class for ages 3-5. Adults join at the end of the class. - $225
5:45 p.m. - Kindermusik "Family Time" Class for ages 1-4; Curriculum is "Milk and Cookies." - $200

Suzuki Strings of Lebanon

Suzuki Strings of Lebanon offers private and group lessons using the Suzuki method of instruction for violin for ages four through adult. We also offer instruction in violin, viola, and cello to traditional students.


Welcome Little Ones

Play & Learn Classes invite families to enjoy stories, crafts, sensory activities, music, movement, and a guided playtime, all rolled into one very happy and stimulating 45 minute class. All classes start Sept. 15-16 and run through Dec. 8-9. The full schedule will be available soon.

Yoga for Kids

Seedling Yoga Class: Grades K-6 at Quittie Glen in Annville
Wednesdays 4:30-5:30 p.m. from Sept. 21-Nov. 9 
In this multi-age developmentally appropriate yoga class, children practice deep breathing, relaxation techniques, and various yoga poses in a mindful and imaginative manner through storytelling, books, music, props, and games. Students enjoy a sustained period of relaxation at the end of class.
