Women’s Expo Entertainment Schedule Covers Health, Beauty, Fashion

Women know how to make the most of their time … which is why the women’s expo—a blend of information, entertainment, shopping, socializing, learning and fun—is a perfect way to spend a day.

The fourth annual Lebanon County women’s expo will take place Saturday, Oct. 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lebanon Expo Center, 80 Rocherty Road, Lebanon.

Returning guests can expect another lively experience with more than 80 exhibitors; live demonstrations, presentations, and seminars; and giveaways and door prizes. 




The Lebanon County women’s expo is presented by OLP Events, the events division of Central Pennsylvania-based On-Line Publishers, Inc., and event partner WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.

The lineup of entertainment, demonstrations, and presentations at the 2016 Lebanon County women’s expo is as follows:

9:30 a.m. – Melt-and-Pour Soap Making
Watch a safe, simple demonstration of all-natural, melt-and-pour soap making by Soap-O-Therapy owner and proprietor Gina Napoli.

10:15 a.m. – An Introduction to 3-D Mammography
Dr. Jennifer Kegel of WellSpan Health will discuss 3-D mammography—what you can expect and the benefits of 3-D versus 2-D mammography.

11 a.m. – Fashion Show 
Christopher & Banks | CJ Banks will be taking the stage to highlight some of their newest colors and trends in women’s apparel and accessories.

11:45 a.m. – Makeup for All the Hats You Wear
Justin Wire, master stylist/makeup artist/educator, will show you quick and easy ways to create beautiful makeup that is ideal for the workday and can transition to an evening look.

12:30 p.m. – The Why Behind Longstanding Pain
Presented by Steven Broker, PT, WellSpan Orthopedic Group of Lebanon, learn why between 10-25 percent of the population continues to have pain for periods of greater than six months. 




Flu shots will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis at the women’s expo. Flu shots are no-cost for most people with insurance plans and Medicare Part B. Attendees should bring their insurance card. 

For all others, the vaccine will be offered at a special price of $20 for trivalent (regular) flu vaccine and $30 for the quadrivalent flu vaccine. The high-dose 65+ vaccine will be billed directly to Medicare.

The women’s expo is hosted by BusinessWoman magazine.
