To say I was a picky eater growing up is an understatement, so when I became a mom, I committed to having my kids at least try, and hoepfully learn to love, a variety of good food.
When the opportunity arose to review Gorton's Seafood products, I jumped at the chance. I grew up eating their fish sticks as my holiday dinner since I had no interest in the turkey, ham, steak or whatever else may have been served to the adults.
We picked two of the most kid-friendly products, at least in my opinion - fish sticks and popcorn shrimp. Both of these are real seafood that is breaded, not that my kids could taste though over all that ketchup! But when we made both of these meals, there were no complaints about what we were having, no bargaining about how much more of their dinner they needed to eat. They just sat and ate!
I took the picture of Brett on night number two when we had the popcorn shrimp and as you can see, he was pretty excited about getting to have it again.
But there is so much more to what Gorton's offers - and did you know many of their products are gluten free? They have a whole line of grilled products, including fillets, tilapia, salmon, haddock and shrimp. Their newest product is the Skillet Crisp, which is tilapia with a light coating of herbs and seasoning that cooks right on your stovetop.
