Volunteer Opportunities

The United Way of Lebanon County maintains a list of volunteer opportunities on its website. Click here for more details.

American Red Cross
Red Cross Clubs can operate from elementary, middle and high schools, as well as colleges and universities. Red Cross Clubs are run by youth, giving them the opportunity to choose and plan their own projects and gain leadership skills. Red Cross Clubs conduct projects and fundraisers throughout the school year that fulfill the Red Cross mission such as blood drives, disaster preparedness materials distribution, holiday mail for heroes (cards for military service members) and fundraisers.  Club members are registered Red Cross volunteers and the hours they log with Red Cross Club activities are tracked as volunteer hours. This allows the students to use those hours when applying to colleges and jobs. Red Cross Club members are also eligible for awards and scholarships through the Red Cross. For more information, contact Janell Fisher at 717-299-5566, ext. 3551 or janell.fisher@redcross.org.

Domestic Violence Intervention (DVI) of Lebanon County, Inc.
Join them as a volunteer for special events like the annual 5K fundraiser, as well as during shelter cleaning days like United Way’s Day of Caring. Contact dvipec@dviolc.org or call (717) 273-7154.
