The American Girl Fashion Show™ provides an interactive opportunity for girls and their families to celebrate girlhood and the stories of growing up as a girl throughout history and today.
For nearly 100 girls the Fashion Show is also an opportunity to volunteer and discover the elements required to produce an event of this kind. Girls age six to 10 will volunteer as models presenting fashions on stage and high school girls will volunteer as commentators, technicians, dressers and doll salon stylists.
“This is a great way for girls to learn about volunteering and giving back to their community while celebrating their enthusiasm for American Girl,” said Event Chair, Missy Argall. “We wouldn’t be able to hold this event without help from our girl volunteers.”
American Girl Fashion Show™ Information:
Friday, November 14 at 7p.m.
Saturday, November 15 at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The Conference Center at IU13, 1020 New Holland Ave, Lancaster
Tickets are $35 per person and are on sale at www.handsonhouse.org or 717.569.KIDS. Refreshments, American Girl-themed party favors and the Fashion Show are all included in the ticket price.
An American Girl doll hair styling, raffles with a chance to win American Girl dolls and merchandise and gift shop with special fashion show and American Girl merchandise will be available.
Proceeds from this American Girl Fashion Show™ benefit educational programs and exhibits at Hands-on House Children’s Museum of Lancaster.

Hands-on House is giving away:
- A package of 5 raffle tickets for a chance to win Bitty Baby Twin dolls, Samantha American Girl doll, Kit American Girl doll or a My American Girl doll with tent and sleepover set. Winners do not need to attend the fashion show to win.
- Girl's American Girl brand T-shirt which is available exclusively at the fashion show.

Rules
All entrants must be at least 21 years of age and a subscriber to Lebanon Macaroni Kid. Deadline for entry is Tuesday, Oct. 28 at noon. One winner will be randomly drawn and notified by email. Winner has 48 hours to respond or a new winner will be chosen.
