Fundraiser Set for Lebanon Teachers Battling Cancer

October 22, 2014
Family and friends are rallying behind two local elementary teachers and invite you to join them at the I Run4 Lisa & Tiff event on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 2 p.m.

Tiffany Bare, a K4 teacher at Northwest Elementary, and Lisa Beard, a K5 teacher at Southeast Elementary, are both battling cancer. Tiffany won her initial breast cancer fight six years ago, but is now facing another challenge. You can read more about her story in this Lebanon Daily News article. Lisa was just diagnosed with breast cancer this summer.

To show your support, grab your family and run, walk or bike along the Lebanon Rail Trail. Strollers are also welcome. Participants are invited to come dressed in costume to "Scare Away Cancer!" Participants can meet at the Lebanon High School weight room for convenient access to the trail.

There is no registration fee, but donations will be accepted and will go directly to Tiffany and Lisa. Find the event on facebook.
