Memorial Day Parades and Other Holiday Events

May 20, 2015
Memorial Day is a time to honor our active duty military service members and veterans, and Lebanon County has three different opportunities for you to do that this weekend.

First, this Saturday in Annville is the 25th annual Memorial Day Parade. One of the largest in the state, this parade features it all -- veterans, bands, emergency vehicles, local businesses and more. Plan to spend between 2 and 3 hours along the streets of Annville if you want to see it all. A brief memorial service follows the parade.

Then, on Monday, parades will march through the streets of Jonestown and Lebanon.

If you're visiting friends in the Harrisburg/West Shore area, you may also want to check out their list of Memorial Day parades and ceremonies.

In addition to the parades, other major annual events over the holiday weekend include:

Saturday, May 23 - Jonestown's Annual Block Party

May 22-24 - Adamstown Community Days Carnival
