Review: The Wiggles, Celebrating in Hershey

Show Featured Favorite Wiggles & Intro to New Faces

August 8, 2012
My family recently got our first chance to see The Wiggles live and in person this past weekend at the Hershey Theatre as part of their Celebration Tour.

The show was non-stop fun right from the beginning when they made their grand entrance in their big red car to the delight of all the kids in the audience.

Greg, Murray, Jeff and Anthony also wandered the aisles of the theatre, greeting fans and accepting flowers and other gifts. As you may have heard, Greg, Murray and Jeff have decided to retire their colored shirts at the end of this tour and make room for Emma, Lachlan and Simon - who were each introduced as part of the performance!

I thought this was a great touch and a nice way to ease the transition for kids who will soon be seeing the new faces as part of their favorite show.

Along with the new Wiggles, the show also included favorites like Dorothy the Dinosaur and Wags the Dog. It was just like the shows at home - only on a much grander, brighter scale!

My daughter's favorite part of the show had to be all the fun gymnastics moves as she's still trying to stand on her head and hands like she saw during the show. I guess we will be signing up for that gymnastics class this year!!

To see the rest of the dates on this farewell tour, including a stop in Philadelphia, please stop by the Wiggles website.

Disclosure: My family received complimentary tickets to the show to facilitate this review. However, all opinions expressed above are my own.
