I grew up in a family where we pulled our same artificial tree out of a box every year and decorated. It wasn't until the first Christmas I was dating my husband that we visited a friend's farm and I got to choose my very first real Christmas tree, and I was convinced that is what our kids would grow up with.
Fortunately for us here in Lebanon County, there are several area tree farms where families can take kids and have a wonderful time choosing the perfect tree. Below is more information on their hours this year.
Blue Ridge Christmas Tree Farm - Annville
Opening on Black Friday, Nov. 23.
Hours are Monday through Friday from 12-7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Wagner Christmas Tree Farm - Lebanon
