Fall Fun in Lebanon County

Corn Mazes, Pumpkin Patches, Apple Picking and More

September 18, 2013
There are so many things to love about fall - cooler weather, changing leaves and football games. It's also the perfect time for fall fun right here in Lebanon County! From corn mazes to pumpkin patches and apple picking, it's a great time to grab a sweater and head outside with the kids and make some memories!

Below is a list of some of the places you'll want to add to your Must-Visit list. And, if you know any I missed, please add them in the comments or email me at alisonw@macaronikid.com.

Gray's Apple Ridge Orchard

Gray's Apple Ridge Orchard in Jonestown offers pick-your-own apples and pumpkins, as well as homemade cider, perfect for a fall day! Their pick-your-own hours are Friday & Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1-5 p.m.

Moyers Mum Farm

Moyers Mum Farm is a one-stop shop for all of your fall decorating needs. Kids can choose their own pumpkin, while you grab a colorful mum. They also sell gourds, cornstalks and haybales.

Risser-Marvel Farm Market

Risser-Marvel Farm Market's corn maze is a giant tractor this year! Additional activities include trike track, hayride, cornbox and rubber ducky races. Prices are $7.50 for age 13 and up, and $5.50 for ages 4-12. You can also explore their Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin Patch and then pay by the pound for what you choose! Learn more on their website.

Seyfert's Corn Maze

Seyfert's Corn Maze in Lebanon also includes a free hayride with your maze visit, and prices are $8 for ages 10 and up and $5 for ages 5-9. Under 5 are FREE. Hayrides are also available without the maze for $3. Visit their website for operating hours.

Sycamore Spring Orchard

Sycamore Spring Orchard is a great place to take the kids for apple picking, and they offer fun private bonfires and hayrides for groups (we did this last year with our own Mini Macaronis!). The orchard features a fun corn maze that is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can also call for evening availability or to arrange for a group visit. Cost is $6 per person and includes a drink or small ice cream when you finish the maze. You'll also want to mark your calendar for their Annual Apple Harvest Festival on Sept. 27-29.
