All performances begin at 11 a.m. and typically run between 40 and 50 minutes, so it's a great way to introduce your kids to theater without asking them to sit for too long! Plus, while each of the shows have an original script, they usually focus on already well-known characters.
Ticket prices are $7 per seat and $5 for a lap seat for children under 3 years of age. Reserved seats can be purchased online at www.gretnatheatre.com or by calling the box office at 717-964-3627. A season ticket for all seven shows is available for $35.

June 28: The Perks of Being a Princess – Book, Lyrics and Music by Brandon LambertPrincess Lily has always dreamed of becoming a renowned chef, but her father, the king, is strictly against her "doing the work of a peasant!" July 5: Pinocchio – Book, Lyrics and Music by Brandon Lambert
Pinocchio, the famous puppet of wood, is tired of being picked on for not being a "real boy." With fierce determination, Pinocchio embarks on a quest to find the Blue Fairy so he can have his one wish. Will Pinocchio be successful in his quest to become a real boy? Warning: the ending will surprise you!
July 12: Phoebe Sue and Her Mystery Crew Solve the Haunting of Hoodwink House – Book and Lyrics by Landon Scott Heimbach, Music by Shannon Sheridan
Dexter disappears! His parents consult the psychic, Claire Voyant who summons the junior sleuth’s Phoebe Sue and her Mystery Crew, who not only solve the disappearance of Dexter but the Haunting of their stately manor, Hoodwink House! Help the crew solve the mystery in true Scooby-Doo style!
July 19: The Lost Rhyme – Book and Lyrics by Kathy Coman, Music by Charles Small
The Lost Rhyme, is a cute take on Mother Goose rhymes sharing some well-known rhymes as well as creating new ones. When Mother Goose wakes to find some of her Rhythmics missing from Rhymeland, Dame & Cat try to help her locate the kidnapper Blair before the Rhythmics are stuck in the real world forever.
July 26: Sleeping Beauty and the Bachelors - Book and Lyrics by Lori Myers, Music by Nick Wilders
A take-off on the popular and nonsensical TV show, bachelors vie for the rose from Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) who is always falling asleep at the wrong times! Her potential suitors include Gorgeous, an Elvis-type who is very full of himself, Tweet and Twit, the two headed know-it-all Troll, Robert Plante a man-eating plant who might have ulterior motives, and Sherman the shy nerdy hypochondriac. Performed on the stage of “Little Shop of Horrors” this fun version will delight young and old alike!
August 2: The Fabulous Fable Factory - Book, Music and Lyrics by Joseph Robinette and Thomas Tierney
12-Year-Old Monroe stumbles into a seemingly abandoned factory and accidentally trips a lever which activates the “machinery” and the assembly line of actors create fables. He discovers the factory lay dormant because they are missing a necessary part, the “Moral Maker” and Monroe is a natural! Some of the most beloved of Aesop’s Fables are created for our audience!
August 9: Rockin’ in the Rainforest - Book, Music and Lyrics by Jason Summers
The rainforest is in trouble! Captain Cuttree is on a mission to tear it down. Will the animals be able to unite in time to stop his dastardly plan? Find out in this funny, upbeat musical about conservation that will have you rocking and rolling in the rainforest!
