Join Lancaster General Health for a fun day at the beach that also includes safety and wellness tips for the whole family. Head to Mt. Gretna Lake and Beach on Tuesday, August 18 for this special event.
Morning activities will run from 10-11:30 a.m. and include:
Water Safety – enjoy summer swimming safely while avoiding dangerous situations
Bike Safety – determine the proper fit for bikes and helmets and learn helpful safety tips
Wellness – healthy lifestyle guidance for kids and adults
Nutrition – smart snacking, portion control and “added sugar” facts
Backpack Safety – don’t let heavy backpacks result in pain or injury
Fitness Challenge – test your skills and stamina
Registration is required by calling 1-888-LGH-INFO and cost is $10 per family which includes admission to Mt. Gretna Lake & Beach for the rest of the day. This family-friendly event offers something for everyone. Door prizes, light refreshments… and fun!
