Nestled in the trees of Mt. Gretna lies one of our family’s favorite ice cream spots – the famous Jigger Shop! There’s something special about a night at this fabulous eatery and ice cream parlor, located along Route 117, that just evokes all the summer feels.
Whether you’re just looking for a refreshing ice cream cone, ice cold milkshakes, or one of their famed sundaes, the only limit at The Jigger Shop is your imagination! Banana splits, their famous Jigger sundae, or one of our favorites that includes warm beignet donuts. Order your choice at the counter and then find a table inside, on their patio, or wander through Mt. Gretna enjoying your treat.
Along with ice cream, you can make it even more of a destination by enjoying lunch or dinner first. The Jigger Shop’s menu includes soups, salads, wraps, burgers, and sandwiches.
The Jigger Shop is open daily during the summer from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.
And for some extra exciting news… The Jigger Shop, which has been a tradition for area families for more than 100 years, will be extending its season past the Labor Day holiday and will be open weekends through September. Hours will be Fridays from 5-10 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. through 10 p.m., and Sundays 11 a.m. through 9 p.m. through September 29.
