Registration is now open for youth acting and theater classes at the Lebanon Valley Council on the Arts. Available classes are listed below.
Classes will be taught by Abby Fields-Dupler, who has an education in vocal performance and musical theater, and has performed in the local area with Sight and Sound, Servant Stage Company, and Reji Woods Productions. She has directed plays and musicals at Lebanon High School, Lebanon Catholic School, and Cedar Crest Middle School. This past summer she partnered with Making a Difference of Lebanon, Pa. and Lebanon Valley Council on the Arts to develop several theater camps for children. She is the Springs Park Playhouse’s (Lititz, Pa) Associate Artistic Director where she will be developing and leading the Junior Company. Abby currently serves as the children & youth music director at Highland Presbyterian Church in Lancaster, is the director of Cedar Crest Middle School Performing Arts Organization, and is on the board of Lebanon Valley Council on the Arts.

Drama for Pre-schoolers (Ages 3-5)
In this class, students will be playing drama games and using their imaginations to create characters. Students will be featured in an adorable end-of-session presentation. Classes will be held Thursdays, October 3-November 21, from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Price $80 for full session.
Acting Class (Grades 1-5)
Students will explore the basics of acting through various theater games, exercises, and scene/monologue study. Classes will be held Saturdays, October 5-November 23, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Price: $80 for full session.
Acting Class (Grades 6-8)
Students will learn various acting techniques through exercises and intense scene and monologue study. Classes will be held Saturdays, October 5-November 23, from 4-6 p.m. Price: $80 for full session.
Musical Theater (Grades 6-8)
If your child loves to sing, this is the class for them. Students will learn all about the life and times of Broadway! Students will create and perform in their very own Broadway-style cabaret. Classes will be held Saturdays, October 5-November 23, from 2-4 p.m. Price:$80 for full session.
Acting Class (Ages 14+)
Students will learn various acting techniques through exercises and intense scene and monologue study. Classes will be held Thursdays, October 3-November 21, from 6-8 p.m. Price: $80 for the full session.
