Let's face it, the days can be long and a lot of miss seeing our friends. Thankfully, last weekend, a friend of mine came up with a fantastic idea - a Virtual Cookie Swap on Facebook! She created the event and invited everyone a week ahead of time so we could figure out our recipes and ingredients - or even showcase our favorite brand from the store in our pantry if we weren't up for baking.
But, bake people did!
On the day of the swap, everyone posted photos of themselves and their kids baking, shared recipes, and just enjoyed a day of something light-hearted and fun.
This weekend, she's shifting to Cupcake Wars! But, the ideas are endless... homemade pizzas, main courses, Italian night.
So, let's spread some food fun and connect with our own families and friends with a virtual cooking/baking event!
