Batz Farm Announces Baby Goat Snuggling

By Sponsored Advertising Content May 13, 2020

Batz Farm, located in Grantville, is excited to announce its second year of Kid Snuggles for Kid Wishes - Baby Goat Snuggling Sessions for Make-A-Wish! This event allows you to hold, hug, snuggle, and play with baby goats!

Due to the unprecedented times,  Batz Farm is taking precautionary measures for everyone's health and safety. Each family will have their own area to enjoy goat snuggling and there is a limit of four families per session. Each family will need to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Masks are not required, and their family will not be wearing them, but you are welcome to if you wish. Please be responsible and respectful of others and do not attend if you are sick. They will happily accommodate if you need to change your scheduled time. Hand sanitizer will be provided and encouraged for use before and after handling the animals. You are entering their farm at your own risk.

There are TWO OPTIONS for Goat Snuggles sessions that start in mid-May.

Snuggle Sessions Only - Cost is $30 per family/group for a one-hour time slot.

New this year! Picnic in the pasture! Reserve a table and bring a packed picnic lunch to enjoy in the pasture with the goats and horses roaming around you. (Animals not inside picnic area). Treats will be provided for you to feed the goats. Picnic time is 45 minutes and then move to the Snuggle Session for one hour! The cost is $55 for a family/group.

A portion of proceeds from these events will go toward Batz Farm's Make-A-Wish Truck Convoy totals and the rest will be used for goat care.

In case of inclement weather, your time can be switched to another open slot. You will be emailed (from batzfarmpa@gmail.com) a liability waiver, rules, and directions upon signing up.
