Lebanon County Communities Announce Tree Lighting Events

November 18, 2020

Our list of holiday tree lightings is considerably shorter this year, but several communities are moving ahead with plans for public tree lighting events.

Jonestown is planning its holiday tree lighting for Friday, Nov. 27, starting at 6:30 p.m. They are asking families to wear masks and social distance. There will be no individual visits with Santa, but kids can write Santa letters that he will take back to the North Pole. Keep up with the latest event details on the Jonestown Borough and Community Facebook page.

The Campbelltown Community Alliance has scheduled its tree lighting event for Sunday, Nov. 29, at 3 p.m. Along with the tree lighting, they are planning to have food trucks and live entertainment. See full details of the event on Facebook.

UPDATE: Please note that Annville has decided to cancel its tree lighting ceremony for 2020. Annville will host its annual tree lighting on Saturday, Dec. 5, with the Washington Band starting Christmas carols at 5:45 p.m. A Christmas sing-along and lighting of the tree will begin at 6 p.m. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Find more details on Destination Annville's Facebook page.
