The Palmyra Area Lions Club, in partnership with the Capital Area Therapeutic Riding Association (CATRA) will offer the “Miniature Horse Adventure Course” at CATRA in Grantville, Pa.
Children ages 8-11 years and their parents/guardians are invited to join one of these sessions with CATRA’s mini-horse, Sarajule, and her pasture mates in search of “happy” during the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday. Along the way, children learn skills in horse handling, problem-solving, healthy communication, and volunteer service.
Participants choose one of the following dates: Saturday, February 6 OR Saturday, February 13 from 9-11 a.m. There is a participation fee of $10/child or $20/family, which supports CATRA’s expenses of this equine-assisted learning program. Registration required by emailing robin@catra.net.
