LEBANON, Pa. - Visit Lebanon Valley, the Destination Marketing Organization in Lebanon County is celebrating National Travel and Tourism Week and Postcard Week from May 1 to May 7, 2022. National Tourism and Travel Week is an annual tradition to celebrate the value of travel and tourism and the way that it impacts the economy, community, and well-being of individuals. It just so happens that National Postcard Week also falls within the same time frame, making it appropriate to celebrate travel through the use of postcards.

President of Visit Lebanon Valley, Jennifer Kuzo says, “You might not think of Lebanon County and tourism as two things that go hand-in-hand, but would you agree that Hershey and Lancaster are tourist destinations? Would you agree that our outdoors like the Rail Trail and Middle Creek are worthy of attention? Would you agree that there are historically significant attractions, like the Union Canal and Cornwall Iron Furnace? Would you also say that we have charming small towns like Mt. Gretna and Annville? Tourism doesn’t always equate to beaches and theme parks.”

“The Lebanon Valley can be a wonderful place to visit. Take your friends and family from out of town to some of these places and explore your own backyard to support our restaurants and small businesses” Kuzo states.

This year, Visit Lebanon Valley is once again sending three free postcards via mail to residents and visitors who would like to share them with their friends and family. As they are available while supplies last, they will be mailed out on a first come, first serve basis. To redeem your postcards, visit the Visit Lebanon Valley website and follow the prompts to an event page form where you’ll be able to fill out your mailing address. National Travel & Tourism Week - Visit Lebanon Valley, Pennsylvania
