Day Camp at Gretna Glen is a wonderful way for kids to explore nature, make new friends, and learn about Christ’s love! This summer we are running programs for campers ages 4 through 8th grade each week.
Each week of day camp has a new theme, new lessons, and new activities; so pick one, two, or more weeks and let Gretna Glen be a highlight of your child’s summer.
The Village, at Gretna Glen, serves as the day camp hub. This space includes group shelters, a large pavilion, campfire sites, and plenty of room for campers to run around. Each day, upon arrival, day campers will check-in at the Funk Program Center. They will enjoy a tractor-drawn wagon ride to and from the Village, at the beginning and end of every day.
Day campers will be divided into family groups by age/grade so that activities for each group can be adjusted to be age-appropriate. We include a balanced lunch, served at the dining hall, and two snacks, delivered to the campers, as part of their day at camp.
Our highly-trained day camp team spends the entire week leading a small group so that they can build relationships with each camper in a group setting. Although each week of camp has a different theme and Bible lessons, there is a standard schedule that ensures all campers will experience the great things about camp like boating, swimming, and fishing.
