Our professional faculty welcomes the opportunity to spend time in the classroom sharing their knowledge and love of dance with your student(s).
Ballet classes incorporate multiple styles of balletic training to create a curriculum that is classical and focuses on exercises at the barre and center. These classes help develop a dancer’s understanding of proper technique, positioning of the feet and body placement while strengthening their flexibility, and core strength. Movement across the floor incorporates turns, jumps, leaps and footwork.
Jazz class will focus on isolations of the body, while improving flexibility. Class curriculum is based on ballet techniques layered with traditional jazz movement. Each class consists of a proper warm-up, stretches, isolations, followed by across the floor combinations, and center floor choreography. Students will have the opportunity to try various styles of jazz, such as Broadway, Contemporary and Traditional.
Hip-Hop classes are high energy and fun. This class is influenced by street movements and encourages students to develop their own personal style as they are introduced to various styles of hip-hop. This class builds strength and stamina and improves body conditioning.
