Review: Paint Night at Brushstrokes on Canvas

Enjoy a Paint Night at Their New Studio

Looking for a fun night out with friends or your spouse?

I suggest the new Brushstrokes on Canvas, an art studio along Route 72 in Lebanon!

This past weekend owner John Olivo invited me to attend one of their grand opening paint night events. While I always disliked art in school, the idea of having a glass of wine and painting in a relaxed environment with snacks and fun music, really appealed to me.

Their new studio is a completely remodeled space, so everything is brand new - from the paint on the walls to the bistro tables and stools. Each table seats four and everyone has a great view of the instructor, in our case Vandon, who guided us through this City Nightscape canvas painting.

We arrived early and had the chance to enjoy a deli sandwich, fruit, and other snacks. Water and soda were also also supplied, or many guests opted to bring their own adult beverage. They also had upbeat music playing in the background that added to the relaxed atmosphere -- perfect for a Moms Night Out!

Throughout the night, Vandon and other staff circulated to offer praise, ideas, and assistance or suggestions if we needed it. There were also a few short breaks to refill drinks, grab another snack, or just mingle with the other guests.

Check out their other upcoming paint parties, including this weekend's paintings pictured above, on their online calendar. Parties are scheduled Thursdays through Saturdays in January. Private parties are available with just a minimum of six guests required. Business functions are also available by request. You can email john@brushstrokesoncanvas.com with any questions.

Make sure to like Brushstrokes on Canvas on facebook to keep up with all their news, as they have plans to expand into classes for kids, birthday parties, and additional offerings!

Disclosure: I was invited as their guest for the grand opening weekend. However, all opinions expressed are my own.
