Shop at Moyers Mum Farm For Your Fall Decorating Needs

Help Them Give Back By Donating New Pajamas When You Visit

By Sponsored September 17, 2014
Fall is in the air and it's soon time for us to head to one of our favorite places to pick out this year's decorations!

Moyers Mum Farm, located along Ono Road in Jonestown, just minutes off Route 72, has all your fall decorating needs covered - gorgeous mums, pumpkins, gourds, cornstalks and more. The farm is entering its 17th growing season for its mums, and is run by Ben Moyer and his wife Tonya, with input and assistance from their two Mini Macaronis!

Now is the time to visit Moyers for their best selection, as word is quickly spreading about how great this place really is! Rows of colorful and full mums line the wagons with prices of $4 each.

And, oh, the pumpkins! From large ones that are too heavy to lift to tiny ones perfect for your Mini Macaronis to carry around, there's so many to choose from. Paint them, carve them, the choice is yours.

Before you head over to shop, consider picking up a pair of children's pajamas as Ben and Tonya are giving back through Conner's Comfy PJs, a program of The Conner M Holland Foundation.

Conner, who passed away at age 5 from leukemia, loved pajamas, according to his mom. She continued, "While receiving treatments in the hospital, he would see other kids that wore generic hospital gowns and ask me to buy them pajamas. He wanted all of them to have soft and comfy clothes like him. So that is what we do. We collect new pajamas, package them and give them to kids fighting cancer, just like Conner wanted. We have given over 1200 pair of pajamas so far!"

Moyers is accepting new pajamas in sizes 2T, 5T-16/17 through October 31. They've already filled their donation tub once, but let's help them do it again!

Moyers Mum Farm is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
