Kindermusik is a series of once-a-week music and movement classes for newborns through 6-year-old children. Musical activities are designed to develop skills for the whole child -- cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and language development. Kindermusik students develop early literacy and language skills, acquire reasoning and early math skills, increase self control, and cultivate a life-long love of music! It's also a chance to bond with your child and connect with others in your community.
Kindermusik with Jennifer Zimmerman hosts classes at Myerstown Church of the Brethren and in Jonestown. Day and evening classes are available. Ask about payment plans and sibling discounts.
Jennifer was first introduced to Kindermusik when looking for a music program for her son. As a former music teacher and Pre-K teacher, now stay-at-home mom, she fell in love with Kindermusik as her son did, too. What a better fit then to combine her love of music and teaching young children. She says it is a joy to be able to spend time with children and families, watching them grow, learn and make music.
