New Adult Programs at Annville Free Library This Winter

The Annville Free Library is encouraging you to find a project for the new year. Whether you're a crafter or want to learn a new language, there are new free options available! Read on to learn more.

Friday Crafternoons

If you like to craft and enjoy the company of other crafters the library has turned Friday afternoons into Crafternoons! Each Friday from 1-3 p.m., bring your current craft project to the library and devote two uninterrupted hours to the joy of crafting with others.
 
Scheduled craft classes will be also be held once a month on a Friday for those who want to try their hand at something new. Check their website monthly for details on what will be offered. There is no registration necessary for Friday Crafternoons.

Learn a Language

The Annville Free Library is excited to offer Pronunciator, a language learning database that you can access from home on your computer, tablet and smartphone. Pronunciator offers 70+ languages (as well as ESL for 50 languages), 8 skill levels from children to travelers, interactive movies, music & poetry, scored quizzes, virtual coaching, downloadable phrase books and more!
 
Library patrons can start learning a new language by going to the Annville Free Library website and clicking on the link to Pronunciator. All that is needed is your library card number, an Internet browser, and speakers or headphones.
