Top 5 Things to Love About Walt Disney World

By Tricia Kohler, Travel Magician, World of Magic Travel February 11, 2015
Hello Macaroni Families!! My name is Tricia Kohler and I am a Macaroni Mom and Travel Magician with World of Magic Travel. I live in Annville with my husband and three sons that include a 4-year-old and 7-month-old twins.

We love Disney so much and I have been traveling to Walt Disney World since I was 4 years old, so I finally decided it was time to share the magic with my friends, family and community. Are you thinking of a Disney Vacation in the near future? Then I would love to share with you my Top 5 Things to Love About Walt Disney World!!

1. Walt Disney World is a year-round destination!

Yes, the summers can be hot and crowded, but, if that is your only time to visit, then go for it!! You can visit the parks in the morning, spend some time poolside in the afternoon, and then head back to the parks after the sun goes down. Fall is my absolutely favorite time to visit because the holidays start coming to life and there are a bunch of different events taking place.

2. There is a resort for every budget!

Staying on-site at Walt Disney World is a truly magical experience, as you are immersed in all things Disney and are able to take advantage of special perks (like Extra Magic Hours, the Disney Dining Plan, and Disney’s Magical Express, to name a few) that off-site guests are not able to take part in. There are three resort categories on-site -- Value, Moderate, and Deluxe -- and these are able to be customized with park tickets to round out your vacation!

That said, Disney has partnered with a number of off-site hotels and resorts to accommodate families of all sizes and budgets.

3. You have options when it comes to tickets!

Disney offers a number of different options for your park tickets to suit your family’s vacation wishes.
There is your basic park ticket, which grants you access to one park per day. You can also add on a Park Hopper option, which allows you to visit multiple parks per day. Are you a big fan of water parks? Then the Water Parks Fun & More option might be a good add-on for you.

For families visiting for the first time, I usually recommend a base ticket so you can spend all day in one park and really do some exploring!

4. You can pay for your meals in advance and save money along the way!

For guests staying on-site, Disney offers five different dining plan options. The most popular option is the Disney Plus dining plan, that gives you one snack credit, one quick service credit, one table service credit per night booked. If your family loves to eat then this is something you should highly consider! It also helps keep you on a budget, as you are not having to pay out of pocket for your meals each day.

5. Disney takes great pride in its Travel Agents!

Not just anyone can call themselves a Disney Travel Agent. In order to become one, you must graduate from the College of Disney Knowledge. As soon as I graduated, I immediately started planning magical vacations for my clients!

One of the things I love is listening to my clients and designing the right package to suit their vacation dreams and helping them along the way with making their dining reservations, ordering their Magic Bands, selecting their Fastpass+ attractions, and any special events and celebrations. There is nothing I love more than delivering a magical getaway that is bound to provide a lifetime of memories.

Whether it is your first trip or 100th trip, I would love to help you plan your upcoming adventure. I specialize in all things Disney, including Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Adventures by Disney, and the Disney Cruise Line.

And…if you are planning a trip elsewhere in the world, I would love to help you with that, too! I have experience with Sandals, Beaches, and many other resorts and destinations around the world. My services are absolutely FREE and I ensure you get the best possible rates with constant price monitoring. I can be contacted at (844) 407-9668 ext. 725 or tricia@worldofmagictravel.com.
